I realize not all of you watch this show, but I do. And there’s not a television show on the air that gets my juices going like this one, so it’s great blog fodder.
Meredith Grey. C’mon, what is she all about? Her struggle to pick one of two love interests _ Derek or Finn _ was one of the most agonizing stretches I can recall. I still don’t get what makes Meredith so appealing. I never will. Yet she was able to keep two smart, funny, successful, interesting guys on pins and needles while she struggled to make her decision.
These episodes set masculinity back 50 years. How weak did those two guys look as they played puppy dog to Meredith’s Queen Bee? It was sad. This show is written by a woman and, for the most part, it’s about women. The men in Grey’s Anatony are there for window dressing. But the appeal of Meredith is mystifying, even though a woman’s eyes.
