I realize this is an old topic. But I still don’t understand why men find Meredith Grey, the lead character on one of my favorite shows, Grey’s Anatomy, so attractive. What am I missing.
There is no plausible way she can interest Dr. Shepherd, her new vet guy, George _ the list goes on. She doesn’t have a bad hair day _ she has a bad hair season.
I was upset with two things that happened on last night’s season finale. I wish Denny wouldn’t have died. And I wish Derek _ Dr. Shepherd _ would have ignored Grey at the prom. Instead, even though they were both there with dates, they went into an empty room and did the deed.
I’m no prude, but I found it offensive. Are these people in love, or are they just hot for each other? And if it’s the latter, don’t either have enough restraint to realize that to give in to hormones is somewhat unbecoming for two people who should be smarter? This particular story line was a low point in an otherwise great show. I recognize the complexities of relationships, but I’m not sold on why Grey has this hold on Dr. Shepherd. I just don’t get it.

I am sorry to tell you that Denny had to die. Saw that one coming the minute Izzy cut the L-Vat cable. And while Meredith isn’t the most beautiful woman in the world, she isn’t ugly either.
I didn’t think last night was a low point, I thought it was exceptional. Is Burke going to fully recover (my thought: yes)? Is Meredith going to choose the Vet or McDreamy? (McDreamy) Where is Addison going to fit in all this, I used to not like her but now find myself rooting for her to leave Derek….but stay in the hospital. Just when you want to hate Alex he goes and comforts Izzy like that. George finally apologized to Meredith and made up with Callie. The Chief faced his sordid past. Yang was revealed to be human rather than the robot she thought she was. And finally Bailey who has to baby-sit her “suck-up, surgery thirsty” interns. It was a great episode, far from a low point.
Bob,
What upsets me even more than the things you mentioned is what about Izzy? Is she leaving the show? Or if she stays are we going to have to put up with a whole season with her recovering and mourning her loss? One other note when I first heard that they was moving the show to thursday it upset me then I thought, wait that means it wont interfere with Sunday night foodball this fall.
Funny I had to read something non-sports related to agree with Bob. The Sheppard/Grey story line is so old and tired. Two seasons and we are right back at square one. For the record Meredith looks average Addison is beautiful. I for one hope Izzy is off the show, the show would have too devote too much time dealing with the complexities of what she did and how she is going to recover. A show this innovative and daring needs change. Besides I think that actress is going to focus on the big screen. She has a movie set for release this week, her second in the last couple of months. Anyway great show, average finale, the episode on Sunday night and the two bomb episodes were much better.
