This is my home away from home, so being in St. Louis feels great. How will the Shockers do? That’s the question.
It’s been forever since the basketball team came to the Valley Tournament with any real expectations. Sure, the past couple of years there has been some hope, but this is now a championship team.
It will be interesting. I think the Shockers are a lock for the NCAA Tournament, but they’re really the only team in the Valley that can say that. Everybody else is playing for their postseason lives. I believe three or four Valley teams will get into the NCAAs, but after WSU it’s impossible to say who those teams will be.
It’s going to be fun.
