Grey’s Anatomy

Pompeo
It’s time to once again dissect my favorite show on television. Which, ironically, includes my least favorite character on television. Which (even more irony) is the character whom after the show is named _ Dr. Meredith Grey (played by Ellen Pompeo, left).

She slept with Dr. O’Malley, a dreadful thing for her to do. She claimed to feel really bad about it, but I don’t trust this manipulative woman as far as I could throw her.

Kate
I recognize love is complex. What I don’t understand is why Dr. McDreamy is so captivated by this horrible woman. And why he won’t throw himself into a reconciliation with his gorgeous and very together wife (as played by Kate Walsh, left) instead of remaining so focused on Dr. Grey.

I think we need a poll here among all of you Grey’s Anatomy aficionados. Should Dr. Shepherd pursue Dr. Grey? Or should he focus on making things work with his wife? Granted, she did cheat on him with his best friend, something which cannot be dismissed lightly.

Still, my vote is for McDreamy to work on his relationship with his wife. Throw Dr. Grey to the curb once and for all. PLEASE!!!!!

McDreamy should work things out w/ Addison. For pete’s sake, she just got poison oak on a very sensitive area because she was taking out HIS dog so HE could sleep in. She’s trying, the least he could do is make up his mind. The title of the show is catchy with it’s double meaning (character and famous book) but I think that Meredith’s character should become more background. Did you notice that for the first time of the show, she didn’t narate it?!? It was nice to have George’s perspective. I really like George, I hope that he and the new doctor get together and are very happy.

I agree with Julie on George — but I think the new doctor might scare him a little bit. Burke and Yang are much more interesting that McDreamy (who I love) and Grey (who I am beginning to loathe).

Addison is growing on me…go ahead and give McDreamy to her. I have a hard time with Yang. Just once, try and see something from someone else’s prospective. I sat up in my chair shocked when Burke said something light-hearted to George…and it now escapes me as to what it was. Finally, I do not agree with the dislike for Meridith. I think she is attractive and just one of the gang on a show filled with great characters.

I am with Jim on this one. Dr. Grey is pretty cute to me and I think without her the show wouldn’t even be half as watchable. Shoot, I can’t imagine the show without any of the wonderful characters. I don’t know why but I like Dr. McDreamy. He seems like a good dude and is pretty funny also.

I want McDreamy and Mer to get back together. …I know, I know! I have to be different than everyone else. But I bought the Season 1 DVDs, and just recently watched them, and I realize - the only time I liked Meredith was when she and McDreamy were happy together. I would like to have Happy Mer back again, because the writers knew how to write that.
