It is with great pleasure that I begin an almost-daily-I-hope blog that will serve to _ well, i don’t exactly know what or who it will serve. I’m going to share my viewpoints and thoughts on more than just sports (some of you are asking: is that really necessary?) I love sports but c’mon. It’s what I do for a job. What I do for fun and recreation and just to get through the daily grind is much different. We can talk about music, although I’m not really that hip about the new stuff. I do have XM Radio, and have noticed that when it’s on, it’s either on a baseball game or the current Top 20. I confess to being an American Idol fan, although Paula has to go. She creeps me out. But I’d probably date her. I am a TV junkie, really, which is not something I’m proud of. I watch all kinds of things and _ this is the really bad part _ wish I had time to watch more. Do I need a life or what? Anyway, I would love to hear back from you. And as I get the hang of this whole blog thing, I’m hopeful the give and take will be fun for everyone. Oh yeah, I play spades online. With actual people. Some of whom say really mean, hateful things. Of course, we’re all using code names, and I have noticed that anonymity makes what probably are good people say some really miserable things. It’s like a soap opera, but I’m hooked. OK, I always have these little thoughts about things in my daily life but there’s never anything for me to do with them. They appear in my brain, I mull them over for a while, then they vanish, never to be heard from again. Some of these thoughts are really valuable, people, so it’s good they will have a home in my blog. Look for them. Interact. Let me know what you think. And I’ll see ya around.
