Flying Magazine has compiled a list of the Top 100 Airplanes of All Time, which features multiple Wichita-built airplanes.
Wichita airplanes also make up a large percentage of its Top 10 list.
Flying Magazine says the list is made up of the “best, most significant and most compelling aircraft designs of all time.”

Contributors included test pilot Bob Hoover, golf Hall of Famer Arnold Palmer, Hollywood actor Harrison Ford, NASA astronaut Robert “Hoot” Gibson, aviation training pioneer Hal Shevers, and former Cessna CEO Jack Pelton, among others.
