Cirrus Aircraft, based in Duluth, Minn., plans to make an “important announcement” on Wednesday, the company said in a video on its website.
The announcement is “the next leap forward” for the company, it teased.
The company, which competes with Cessna Aircraft, produces the four-seat composite SR20, SR22 and SR22T airplanes. Retail prices total $289,900, $449,900 and $544,900 respectively.
Last year, Cirrus delivered 255 planes and posted billings of $150.3 million.
