It’s been five years since Wichita Mid-Continent Airport added a Courtesy Crew, a group of employees who provide customer service to travelers and their guests.
The airport is celebrating the landmark today with crew members handing out treats to airport guests.
“The Courtesy Crew volunteers have provided outstanding customer service to passengers and guests of the airport for the past five years,” said Valerie Wise, the airport’s business development manager. “They have had a positive impact on many travelers and have enhanced the image of the airport and the city of Wichita.”
Members, who are paid city employees, are recognizable by their distinctive red jackets, smiling faces and eagerness to help, Wise said.
