Boeing Wichita receives follow-on contract for Air Force One

Boeing Wichita has received a $13.2 million follow-on contract for support for VC-25 aircraft assigned to the 89th Airlift Wing at Joint Base Andrews, Md. The aircraft provides airlift for the President, according to the U.S. Department of Defense. Its call sign is Air Force One when the president is on board.

It’s the second year of a five-year, five-month contract that continues sustainment support of the aircraft, said Boeing Wichita spokesman Jarrod Bartlett.
