Wichita-based aviation reporter and photographer Dave Higdon and his two partners received Flying Magazine’s Bax Seat Trophy for journalism last week in Oshkosh, Wis.
Higdon, who lives in Wichita, (left in the courtesy photo) is a former Wichita Eagle aviation reporter. The other two are Jeb Burnside, from Florida. Jack Hodgson, (right), from New Hampshire, is the creator/producer.
The three were recognized for their work producing Hangar Flying Podcast, Uncontrolled Airspace.
The trio hit their 200th podcast last week while at EAA’s annual Airventure air show.
