Janet Yoder of Garden Plain was inducted into the International Forest of Friendship in Atchison for her more than 30 years as an aviation leader in Kansas.
Yoder is a registered nurse who has more than 4,000 flight hours, has flown in 28 Air Race Classic races and four Grand Prix races. She’s held leadership roles with the Amelia Earhart Birthplace Museum and the Kansas Chapter of the 99s and is a member of several aviation-related organizations.
