Harrison Ford in town to pick up new Citation jet

Actor Harrison Ford has been in Wichita for the past two weeks for training in preparation to take delivery of his brand new Cessna Citation Sovereign business jet.

Ford is working on his type rating for the mid-size jet. The snazzy Sovereign is typically configured for nine passengers and has a range of 2,847 nautical miles.

    I wonder if Harrison Ford’s co-pilot will be Anne Heche?
    They looked great flying around in a De Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver in Six Days Seven Nights.

    I am delighted to see him buying a Wichita product. Clearly, he knows quality when he sees it.

    I just wish it had been a Hawker-Beechcraft jet, but I am biased.
